Why We Like It

It was started by a kid, Zach, who is our age (8) to help kids who are homeless.

He does fun things like walking across America to teach more people about homeless kids in America, and to raise money to help kids.

He collected things from other people and gave them to other poor people. He got three truck loads of stuff . He gets things kids need and puts it in backpacks and then gives the backpacks away to kids in different towns.
It's pretty neat.

What We're Doing

We gave a twenty five dollar donation to a charity that we liked. Some of the money was ours and some was mom's. We want to choose a different one each week.



Why

Because we always look up different charities to get ideas of what we can do to help others and then we thought it would be neat to give money to some of our favorites.
